Collection, 1889,1998.

Collection, 1889,1998 and undated, includes Clarke's certificates of appreciation; degrees earned; correspondence; materials related to his collecting interests; articles he wrote; and a draft of his autobiography. His memorabilia includes: a Masonic fez, fez bag, apron, and pins; as well as plaques; an academic hood; and drawings of the Civil War steamer Diana. A collection of publications on the heart, endate, chelation therapy, and ethylene diamino tetraacetic acid (E.D.T.A.), reflecting his research and professional interests are also included. There are also some audio visual materials, mostly cassette tapes, of research topics of interest to Dr. Clarke, and a tape of an award dinner when he was honored for his service to Providence Hospital. Photographs and other visual or illustrative materials are found throughout the collection.

Maybee was a history professor at CMU. The Clarke Historical Library has several of his publications and his papers. The Advisory Committee developed plans for major events, publications, re-dedications of campus buildings, presentations, and a historical marker for CMU's 75th Anniversary.
